At the age of 3 years my biggest aim was to possess a dog which I got as a present from my parents in 1973. It was a black Miniature Poodle. Two years later – in 1975 – we have bread our first poodle litter under our prefix “Vom Karlseck”. In the following 3 decades I have bread Toy- and Miniature Poodles in the colors black, brown and silver which I showed with success in Germany and abroad.

In 2010 we have bought a Miniature Schnauzer in black and silver from a German Breeder. Since 2012 I bread them together with my wife Petra. From our first miniature schnauzer litter, we kept “Alberta-Naomi” and showed her very successfully. Our Miniature Schnauzers from the last 6 litters have received numerous Champion titles since that time and have also absolved the PSK endurance test. My son Maximilian, who was a very successful Juniorhandler, is now our new partner in our kennel and the third generation as a family breeder.

In 2006 I became VDH Expert Judge for Poodles. In the following years, I also became Expert Judge for 18 breeds and in 2017 I became FCI-Group 9 Judge. Now I am Judging Student for Group 2. I have already been judging in 16 European Countries.

It is a big honor for me to judge the Special Show of Pinscher Schnauzer Club at Reggio Emilia Show in Parma, Italy.
